What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive hair restoration technique that stimulates the scalp’s natural healing response, enhances blood flow, and promotes the delivery of growth factors to dormant hair follicles.
It creates tiny channels in the skin, allowing for better penetration of topical medications like dutasteride & minoxidil, PRP and Exosome therapies to further support follicle regeneration and hair density.
Microneedling along with our Topical Treatment Options
Our hair restoration approach combines microneedling with advanced topical treatments to offer a non-invasive, pain-free, and highly effective solution. This treatment not only supports natural hair regrowth but also promotes healthier, more vibrant hair overall. With little to no downtime, it’s a convenient option for those looking for a safe, natural way to address hair thinning and loss.
At BioRestore, our expert providers craft personalized hair restoration plans using the proven power of microneedling. This innovative, non-invasive treatment helps reactivate dormant hair follicles, restoring your hair’s natural strength, fullness, and vitality—all with minimal downtime.
Now Offering Three Different Microneedling Options!
Microneedling combined with:
Dutasteride & Minoxidil
- Dutasteride reduces DHT, a hormone that contributes to hair loss, while minoxidil promotes hair growth. A new approach to treating hair loss combines topical dutasteride and sometimes minoxidil—with microneedling—to help stimulate hair growth in both men and women with pattern hair loss.
Please note: For the best results, a minimum of three microneedling sessions, spaced one month apart over three months is required.
PRP
- PRP therapy harnesses the healing power of your own blood to naturally stimulate hair growth. By delivering concentrated growth factors directly to the scalp, PRP helps reactivate dormant hair follicles and improve hair density—without surgery or downtime.
Exosome
- A regenerative treatment that uses cell-derived vesicles—known as exosomes—to promote hair growth and improve scalp health. These tiny, naturally occurring particles are rich in growth factors, proteins, and genetic material that support cellular communication and tissue repair.
Prefer a non-microneedling option? We offer alternative hair restoration treatments tailored to your goals:
Finasteride
- Finasteride is an FDA-approved oral medication commonly used to treat pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia). It helps slow hair loss and can even promote regrowth in some individuals. It is typically taken once daily and is most effective when used consistently over time.
Minoxidil/Ketoconazole/Latanoprost Combo
- This powerful topical formulation combines three clinically supported ingredients to promote hair regrowth, reduce inflammation, and improve scalp health—all in one convenient solution. Together, this combination addresses multiple causes of hair loss—circulation, inflammation, hormonal activity, and follicle stimulation—making it an effective non-invasive option for both men and women experiencing thinning or shedding.
What to Expect During Microneedling Treatment?
If you're considering one of the Microneedling Treatments for Hair Restoration, it's natural to have questions about the process and what you can expect during your treatment sessions. Here's a breakdown of what typically happens:
1. Consultation
Your journey begins with a consultation with our skilled providers at BioRestore. During this session, you can discuss your specific hair concerns, treatment goals, and medical history. This step is crucial as it allows us to tailor a personalized treatment plan that meets your needs.
2. Preparation
Before the treatment, your scalp will be cleaned thoroughly to ensure it's free of any oils, dirt, or debris. Topical numbing cream may be applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.
3. Microneedling
The microneedling portion of the treatment involves using a specialized device with fine needles. These needles gently puncture the scalp's surface, creating micro-injuries that stimulate collagen production and improve blood circulation to the hair follicles. The procedure is generally well-tolerated and minimally invasive.
4. Topical Treatment Application
Following microneedling, the topical treatment best suited for you is applied to the treated area.
5. Post-Treatment Care
After your session, you can typically return to your daily activities with minimal downtime. You may experience some mild redness or swelling at the treatment site, but this usually subsides within a day or two.
6. Multiple Sessions
For optimal results, a series of treatments is usually recommended. Your provider will discuss the recommended number of sessions during your consultation.
7. Results
Over the following weeks and months, you'll notice improvements in hair density and overall scalp health. It's important to remember that results vary from person to person, and multiple sessions may be necessary to achieve your desired outcome.
At BioRestore, we prioritize your comfort and satisfaction throughout the process. Our expert team is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring a positive experience and outstanding results.
